The beginning lies in olive groves and medieval walls two hours north of Rome. The path covers a thousand miles of walking, and thousands more of transport. The destination wanders as I do, and the end remains unseen.
My Italian year ended in May of 2010, but the experience can't and thus continues. I lived in Viterbo, VT, Lazio, a town of 60 000 people and several thousand more olive trees. I visited 9 provinces and a few dozen towns over the course of my stay, and continue writing about them to this day. I enjoy writing and photographing the world around me.

Update
I'm going to be traveling in Sicily for the next 2 weeks. When I get back, I hope to start translating the essays I have written in Italian into English and posting them here. Hope to post at least 2 entries soon!
